As a successful candidate for the Latest Jobs in Dubai, your responsibilities may include:
Project Assessment:
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work and client requirements.
- Conduct site visits & attending pre-bid meetings, if necessary, to gather additional information and assess project conditions.
- Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities that may impact the estimation process.
Cost Estimation:
- Analyze project requirements and materials to determine quantities, specifications, and costs.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project expenses.
- Utilize historical data, industry benchmarks, and market trends to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of estimates.
- Incorporate factors such as overhead, profit margins, and contingency into the overall cost calculations.
- Quantification of Variations as per revised drawings / specification and follow-up with Main Contracts / Project Managers for Site Work Instruction. (SWI)
- Pricing of Variation claims, evaluation with Main Contractors / Project Managers and Finalization of Variation Orders (VO)
Vendor and Subcontractor Relations:
- Solicit quotes and proposals from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve optimal value for the project and the company.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to support future collaborations.

Requirements
To qualify for the Latest Jobs in Dubai, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
- Extensive experience in MEP renovation & construction projects, with a minimum of 5 years in an estimating role.
- Ability to work for pre-contract & post-contract projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Planswift as well as MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex project requirements and specifications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully bidding and winning MEP projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to drive results.
