As a successful candidate for the Latest Jobs in UAE, your responsibilities may include:
1. Tank Designer
- Prepare mechanical design calculations for API 650 and API 620 storage tanks using AME Tank software and MS Excel.
- Conduct FEA nozzle load calculations using Nozzle Pro software.
- Review tank and structural detail drawings, including general arrangement drawings.
- Prepare material requirements for project procurement (plates, flanges, pipes, fittings, gaskets, bolts, nuts, etc.).
- Estimate tender quantities based on preliminary storage tank designs.
- Expertise in API650, API620, ASCE7-16 standards, AutoCAD, AME Tank, and Nozzle Pro is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients.
- Well-versed in API650, API620, and ASME standards.
- Prepare GA, nozzle orientation drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings for API650 and API620 tanks.
- Generate bill of materials.
- Prepare detailed drawings for nozzles, manways, cleanout doors, agitators, platforms, spiral staircases, etc., as per API standards.
- Independently prepare shop-fabricated and field-erected tank drawings according to API standards.
- Prepare material requirements for project procurement (plates, flanges, pipes, fittings, gaskets, bolts, nuts, etc.).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and AME Tank software.
- Expertise in preparing spool drawings.
- Strong knowledge of ASME 31.3 Piping Code.
- Familiarity with ASTM materials and ASME Section II.
- Knowledge of weld joint configurations and NDT for weld joint preparation.
- Generate bill of materials, weld maps, and tracking systems.
- Proficient in AutoSpool software.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, including part drawing and 3D modeling.
- Experience in handling oil and gas projects, especially process skids and other piping systems.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients on pipe routing and design.
