To be responsible for post contract QS services, and responsibilities includes for pre-contract; feasibility study, cost plan, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), analysis of rates, tender documentation, tender inquiries, and for post contract; contract documentation, payment certificates, variations, analysis of rates, review of insurances applicable on construction projects, final account and project close out etc.

As a successful candidate for the Latest Jobs in Dubai, your responsibilities may include:
- Measurement/Quantity take off as per Standard Method of Measurements applicable in construction industry for the preparation of BOQ as per detailed drawings & specification
- Pre –tender cost estimate/ cost plan at all stages from concept design stage and to be expanded/develop for further stages until final design and preparation of tender documents.
- Pre-tender priced BOQ based on final tender document released for the tender
- Adjustment/amendments to the quantities in BOQ as per design changes to the final design during process of tender and post tender stages.
- Tender queries/clarifications related to quantities and details in BOQ, discrepancies in drawings and specifications etc.
- Prepare tender’s analysis report for the tenders and comparative analysis for quotations received from tenderers/contractors and suppliers.
- Post Contract Responsibilities:
- Payment Certificates, settlement of variations and claims
- Rate analysis comparison/report for the quotations received from contractors/sub-contractor and suppliers
- Tender analysis report/ comparative analysis for PS Items for other sub contract or specialists work packages
- Maintaining and updating records/logs of EI, interim payments, and variations etc.
- Attending site progress meetings on site (as per requirement)
- Reviewing of insurances, bonds, advance payment guarantees & securities in coordination with line manager.
- Final Payment, Statement at Completion, and to prepare TOC & DLP certificates for projects.
- Adjustment/amendments to the quantities in BOQ as per design changes to the final construction/as built drawings during the progress of work.
- Quotation Inquiries and follow up with sub-contractors/ vendors & suppliers for the cost estimate

Requirements
To qualify for the Latest Jobs in Dubai, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or equivalent in engineering disciplines with a minimum 8 years of experience and at least 3 years of experience within the UAE preferably in Consultancy Services.
- Possess good working knowledge of computer software’s e.g. MS Office (word & excel), Auto Cad and other relevant software’s
- Possess good working knowledge of method of measurements/ techniques based on POMI, CESM3 & SMM7 etc.
- Possess working knowledge and understanding of different types of procurement route in construction industry and applicable Forms of Contract (FIDIC 1987 & 1999, Short form of FIDIC etc.) and other available Forms being used in construction industry especially in UAE.
