Responsibilities

• Prepare delaled cost estimales for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
• Prepare the technical and commercial submission for all tenders.
• Develop initial budgets and providencost projections at various stages of the broiect.
• Andlyze drawings, specifications, orlarother documentation to prepare comprehensive cost breakdowns.
• Perform quantity takeoff by calculating the amount of materials required for a project.
• Measure and guantify construction activities to create a Bill of Quantities (BOQI.
• Ensure that all quantities are accurate and align with project plans and specifications.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and schedules.
• Evaluate tendors submitted by contractors and subcontractors, enalyzing bids for accuracy and compliance.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, end conditions with contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs continuously to ensure they remain within the approved budget.
• Track changes to the design or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Frepare, review, and manage contracis, ensuring not all terms and cond lions ore clear and enferceable.
• Evaluate and process contract variations, change orders, and additional works.
• Ersure that contractors ond subcontractes comply with contract terms and payment schedules.
• Conduol sile vails to assess work progress and validale the quaily of work.
• Megure compeled work lo prepare valualions for interim and final payments.
• Issue payment certificates to contractors and ensure accurate and fimely poyments.
• Maintain accurale records of all costrelaled acivilies, including invoices receipis, and contract changes.
• Prepare regular financial reports and updates for project managers and stakenolders.
• Document project progress, cost changes, and any issues that erise for future reference.

Requirements

• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, quantity surveying, construction management.
• Experience: Experience in quantity surveving, cost estimation, or a related feild within the construction industry is typically required.
