Description

The role involves developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders for timely execution. Extensive experience in construction, especially design and build projects, and a strong grasp of planning tools, methodologies, and best practices is required.

Responsibilities

𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈:

• Develop project schedules for design and construction using hashtag#PrimaveraP6.
• Manage baseline schedules in line with contract requirements.
• Regularly update schedules for scope, resource, and other changes.
• Conduct critical path analysis, identify delays, and propose mitigation strategies

𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:

• Collaborate with project teams to align schedules.
• Lead planning meetings to clarify timelines and milestones.
• Update Project Manager and senior management on schedule status, progress, and risks.

𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒌 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕:

• Identify scheduling risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Develop contingency plans for risk management and on-time delivery.

𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕:

• Plan and allocate resources for project demands, optimizing manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely delivery.

𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆:

• Ensure schedule compliance with company policies, contracts, and standards.
• Conduct audits and reviews for schedule accuracy and reliability.

𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:

• Prepare progress reports, including Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis.
• Maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and risk logs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a senior planning role.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling techniques, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) is highly desirable.
• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
