Responsibilities

Vehicle Maintenance

• Maintain the company vehicles and take the necessary precautions in terms of servicing and maintenance so that the transportation duties are not compromised.
• Ensure and maintain a zero traffic fine or casualty record, through safe and disciplined driving.

Driving

• Transport Al Nabooda Automobile employees from company accommodation to place of work, with courtesy, efficiency, ensuring that they are able to start work at the required time.
• Pick up and deliver documents and cheques etc to various locations as directed, ensure that all appropriate paperwork is completed.
• Transport vehicles from various locations in the UAE delivering them safely to the correct destination.
• Clear all new vehicles from ports and transport to required location (storage location or workshops).
• Drive the company vehicles safely, observing all traffic rules.

Operational

• Support the Manager Logistics in implementing the departmental policies and procedures; ensure that all internal guidelines are followed.

Personal Development

• Maintain and develop own skills and technical knowledge using a development plan agreed with the line manager.
• 
  
• Attend an annual appraisal in line with the company policy and procedures.
• 
  
• Attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the communication of any ideas for improvement in processes or cost savings.

Key Performance Indicators

• Safe arrival at destination, on time
• Safe driving record, no traffic fines
• Accuracy of delivery destination

Requirements

 Education/Qualification:

•  High School Education
• UAE Driving Licence
• HCV Driving Licence

Experience (experience required for the job):

• 1-year experience in similar position
• Exposure to a multicultural environment
• 1 year experience driving in the UAE

Skills (general job knowledge & skills):

• Understanding of English
• Driving
• Knowledge of RTA rules and regulations
