We are Hiring:
- Authority Laison Engineer
The Authorities Liaison Engineer will establish and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and coordinate with them for project approvals.
Additionally, the Authorities Liaison Engineer will provide expertise and guidance on regulatory matters, anticipate potential challenges related to permits and licenses, and collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.

Liaison and Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the consultant and government authorities such as DM, DPA, Nakheel, Trakhees, Dubai South Civil Defense, DEWA, empower, RTA, and other relevant entities.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between project teams and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project approval processes.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all projects comply with the relevant local regulations, codes, standards, and guidelines.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and ensure the consultancy and its projects remain compliant.
Documentation and Submissions:
- Prepare, review, and submit all necessary documents, drawings, and applications required for project approvals.
- Track and manage the status of submissions, approvals, and permits.
- Assist in resolving issues and challenges related to authority approvals.
- Represent the consultancy in meetings, site visits, and inspections with authorities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, codes, and standards for architectural and engineering projects.
- Proven track record of successfully obtaining project approvals from various authorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency related to drawing review.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
