Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Senior Treasury Officer

Responsibilities:  

  • Reviewing of Book Balance Reconciliation Report.
  • Preparation of  Cash Flow Report
  • Accounting of Interest Cost and Principle Loan Repayment
  • End Month Closing Entries related to Banks (accruals and bank reconciliation entries)
  • Reviewing Bank Reconciliation Statements
  • Accounting for Interest Income on Fixed Deposit.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree  in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA or equivalent is proffered.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Treasury, Finance and relevant department.
  • 2+ years in a similar position / similar scope of work.​

2. Petroleum Engineer ( On Job Training )

Responsibilities: 

  • Establishes and/or maintains Abraj filing and record-keeping systems (COC and COS). Maintains reference soft and hard copies. 
  • Establishes and maintains organized, accessible and filling system in accordance with applicable standards, policies and procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of information and materials according to established policies and procedures.
  • Owner of the filling structure of the department, and overlook the files, documents and folders.
  • In line with the quality and internal audit requirements in terms of the department documents and file.
  • Conducts complex and/or comprehensive research on cost optimizations and performance enhancement.  
  • Collects and/or compiles necessary data/information from a variety of sources (e.g., reports, files, databases, individuals) in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
  • Uses data/information gathered to appropriately respond to inquiries, questions or requests.
  • Properly prepares and distributes or forwards required or requested data/information, reports and other documents to appropriate persons within established period.
  • Execute and track any Payments and finance department perspectives:
  • Execute all billing sheets and sales orders according to Abraj process
  • Share all accruals, approved and signed billing sheets, diesel reports and any other reports required for finance.
  • Collect, generate MIS Report monthly. Adhere to the submission date.
  • Ensure all Rigs EOM reports are available in Abraj share folder. Report missing to the line manager through excel sheet.
  • Receive drilling Inspection report (i.e. tubular, handling tools, etc) from Abraj vendors and handed over to assigned line manager. File soft copy in shared drive.
  • Collect DS monthly site visits reports and record the findings in Intelex.
  • Generate of Rental report. Make sure with line manager that all rentals are captured and with valid PO.
  • Update NPT Monthly. Assure the NPT sheet are QC'd and matching the billing sheet.
  • Own MOM of weekly Operations meeting. Follow up and track the actions through Tracker sheet.
  • Update well records sheet.
  • Update and post Drilling and Workover Dashboard.
  • Utilize the engineering skills to track, sustain and give solutions in any adhoc projects that the department undergoes, such as CI projects, CAT IV projects, system upgrade and new technology projects.​

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
  • GPA above 3.0. ​ 

 

3. Mud Engineer

Responsibilities: 

  • Knowledgeable on drilling operations (i.e.  Drilling, tripping pipe, running casing, cementing, completions, etc).
  • Knowledgeable on the drilling fluids circulation system, it's components, and each component's function.
  • Knowledgeable on key product properties, applications, and limitations
  • Knowledgeable on the properties of the mud (i.e. solids calculations, fluid chemistry, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable on the effects of the products/systems on the mud chemistry (i.e. impact on pH, calcium, alkalinity, etc).
  • Knowledgeable on the solids control process and equipment and able to explain how various recommendations (i.e. screen size selection, shale shaker settings, etc.) will impact the drilling fluid properties and/or efficiency of solids removal.
  • Participate in pre and post well planning and presentations
  • Reviews fluids program in order to prepare orders and mixing plans.
  • Instruct and supervise crew for mixing and handling of products on site.
  • Gathers samples and performs tests to determine trends and identify contaminants.
  • Control the drilling fluid within defined specifications I Records test results to identify trends.
  • Interprets property-test data to establish required treatment or action.
  • Perform complete, accurate and timely well-site analysis of all drilling fluids parameters required by the company and/or the operator.
  • Determines cause of fluid, hole, or system problems to assist in treatment recommendation.
  • Recognize drilling problems  and propose solutions.
  • Responsible for staying with the operator to solve any problems which occur at the drilling site until the problem is resolved (Lost Circulation, Gas Kicks, Sever Chemical contamination, etc).
  • Determines chemical treatments required to optimize drilling parameters.
  • Supervises rig personnel performing chemical additions and recording drilling fluid parameters.
  • Manages product inventory to ensure availability.
  • Monitors daily drilling operations to reduce or eliminate problems associated with drilling fluids.
  • Provide daily drilling  fluid  reports  to the  operator's drilling supervisor  I Complete reports needed for the final well summary.
  • Attend and participate  in safety/engineer meetings  and brief  the drilling crew  on any aspect of drilling fluid usage.
  • Maintain accurate  and  timely  maintenance   of  drilling fluids   records  (Mud Reports, Materials Concentrations Form, Drilling Fluids Recaps and  any other  records  or reports requested by the company and/or  operator).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, or Petroleum Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years oil and gas industry in similar position / Scope of work excluding training period.
  • Basic Drilling Fluids Certification (Mud School)  and IWCF are preferred. 

 

4. Executive Secretary

Responsibilities: 


  • Provide efficient personal assistance to CEO Office routing correspondence as necessary and taking initiative in drafting replies, where appropriate, to ensure that all communications are dealt with appropriately.
  • Act as first point of contact for both internal and external parties who aim to contact and screen the requests to ensure those with genuine and important reasons are given priority.
  • To provide full personal assistant support by dealing with all correspondence and calls, drafting routine letters to a high standard, minute meetings, taking messages, follow up action points and other administrative tasks as required to support the CEO.
  • Observe and apply strict levels of confidentiality and discretion to all matters related to the CEO Office as to safeguard the status of the CEO and the image of Abraj.
  • Liaises and cooperate with other management and administrative staff, establishes means of cooperation ensuring the efficient and effective flow of communication between CEO Office and other departments.
  • Oversee coordination of all reporting to the CEO from programmers, projects and departments, prepare pre-meeting briefings and ensure actions are completed.
  • Provide proactively schedule management support to coordinate the diary of the CEO by prioritizing and arranging internal and external meetings, ensuring appropriate briefing papers are prepared and provided.
  • Develop and establish workflow processes and systems to enable smooth running of CEO office.
  • Plan and organize all the necessary arrangements regarding scheduling and travelling, in a value-added way, ensuring best utilization of CEO's time.
  • Maintain effective filling and data storage including emails and retrieval systems.
  • Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with Abraj's values, equality aims, policies and procedures.
  • Participate and contribute to organizational/team meetings as required.
  • Undertake any other appropriate duties as required to support the CE​.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related.
  • Five (5)  years of experience in similar role.
