• AutoCAD Draftsman (Mechanical)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman specializing in Drainage systems to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for drainage systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

 We are actively seeking candidates who can join the team immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design:

• Produce accurate and detailed Drainage system drawings using CAD software.
• Prepare and revise mechanical drawings, including layouts, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand the requirements of the Drainage design.
• Ensure compliance with established design standards and Drainage system specifications.

 

Documentation and Review:

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all design drawings.
• Assist in reviewing Drainage designs and suggest improvements or modifications.
• Update and modify drawings based on changes in design or construction.

 

Coordination and Collaboration:

• Work closely with other team members, including engineers, architects, and construction personnel.
• Coordinate with other draftsmen and departments to ensure consistency in design and drafting standards.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on drafting and design issues.

 

Quality Control and Compliance:

• Ensure that all designs adhere to required codes and regulations.
• Perform quality control checks on Drainage drafting deliverables.
• Stay updated with new drafting techniques, software, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman, specializing in HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Drainage systems and mechanical design principles.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

 

Skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
