 The job purpose of the Senior Internal Auditor is to develop and manage a risk-based internal audit plan and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with corporate policies to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.

• Qualification: Bachelor / Master degree with CIA / ACCA

Responsibilities

• To assist Internal Audit and Compliance Team Manager for developing annual, quarterly and monthly internal audit plan. 
• Conducting internal audit field work as per the internal audit plan to verify the following, verification of transactions with supporting documents to ensure correctness, completeness and compliance with policies and procedures of the company and also ensure compliance on any specific instruction circulated by the management. 
• Identify risk, internal control weaknesses that exist in the present scheme of operations and provide recommendation to mitigate risk and internal controls to improve process. 
• Verification of petty cash expenses, purchase, sales transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales commission, inventory, fixed asset, inter group company reconciliation, bank reconciliation, HR and payroll and conducting audit on factory operations including investigations related to fraud. 
• Drafting audit report to highlight findings along with recommendation for corrective action and submit to team manager for review and finalization. 
• Follow-up with auditee to obtain response and action plan with target dates to finalize the audit report. 
• Review of status of implementation of agreed action plan on the due date or in the subsequent audit cycle. Monitoring of pending action plan till is implementation.

Requirements

• Master / Bachelor degree with CIA / ACCA 
• 3 to 5 years of experience as senior executive in internal auditing preferably in trading and manufacturing business sector 
• Excellent knowledge in Internal Audit and Accounting and UAE regulation requirements. 
• Excellent knowledge in MS-Office, work experience in ERP system and ability to analysis large quantum of data. 
• Preferably Look for candidate working in audit consultancy firms or in retail trading & manufacturing sector.
