Our Middle East operations have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Engineer to join our Qatar team. We require a qualified Health and Safety professional with a strong systems and auditing background in managing and monitoring contractors. The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Position: QHSE Supervisor - Qatar 
• Experience: 5+ years 
• Qualification: Bachelor degree in Health & Safety. 
• Location: Qatar

Responsibilities

• Assist all QHSE officers (approving, checking, submitting internal quality requirements); Performs reporting, risk assessments and auditing and observes all QHSE related activities and policies are in place within a location. 
• Update and prepare all QHSE and BRC related Files which will be used for all kinds of audit (External Audit, Internal Audit, Costumer Audit, Certification Audit 
• Help the QHSE Manager review and implement current and revised standard and policies . 
• Assist both Production and QHSE officers in performing post-incident investigations and communicates with the QHSE Manager and others until all action items have been closed. 
• Assist the QHSE Manager for all Laboratory item certification, Costumer complaint handling, Certificate of analysis, Material Safety Data Sheet completion. 
• Follow and adhere to all state, federal and company enforced QHSE rules and regulations 
• Performs post-incident investigations and communicates with the QHSE Manager and others until all action items have been closed. 
• Assist all QHSE officers throughout Al Bayader Group (approving, checking, submitting internal quality requirements); Performs reporting, risk assessments and auditing and observes all QHSE related activities and policies are in place within a location. 
• Update and prepare all QHSE and BRC/ISO related Files which will be used for all kinds of audit (External Audit, Internal Audit, Costumer Audit, Certification Audit). 
• Help the QHSE Manager review and implement current and revised standard and policies through Al Bayader Group

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 
• Certifications in QHSE standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 ,BRC issue 6) are highly beneficial 
• Risk Assessment & Management: Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and implementing risk mitigation strategies. 
• Compliance Expertise: Ability to ensure compliance with local and international QHSE regulations and standards relevant to the packaging industry.
