• WELFARE OFFICER

Responsibilities

• Managing development of welfare management plan, welfare policies
• Demonstrated excellence in handling welfare initiatives for Staff including new joining orientation, counselling, addressing grievances and disputes, ensuring statutory welfare facilities, managing long absenteeism, training and capacity building of employees having poor performance.
• Planned and designed various welfare activities entailing organization of different welfare events & sports activities, blood donation drives, can collection drives etc. to boost up morale of Staff.
• Overall responsibility in ensuring welfare activities for employees are effectively managed and implemented
• Handle employee complaints, counseling and grievance
• Identify and address issues, concerns, root cause of an employee and any matter that needs escalation to the Management
• Ensure necessary assistance and care is given to employee who has undergone medical treatment and residing at our accommodations

Requirements

• Bachelor in Sociology, 5-10 years of experience in a HR department in a building construction company in UAE
• Language Proficiency (mandatory): English (Read, Write, Speak), Arabic/Hindi/Urdu and other languages will be an added advantage
• IT Proficiency: MS Office (Word, Excel)
