Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accountant in the field of logistics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding and possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Fresa CRM software and knowledge of logistics terms are essential for this role.

- Financial Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the logistics department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Invoicing and Billing: Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to clients. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Expense Management: Review and verify expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Reconcile expenses with supporting documentation.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
- Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze costs related to logistics operations. Identify areas for cost optimization and recommend strategies to improve efficiency.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the management team to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for the logistics department. Track actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, relevant laws, and regulations. Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits as required.
- Fresa CRM Utilization: Utilize Fresa CRM software effectively to manage customer information, track shipments, and generate necessary reports.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure accurate financial data and resolve any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Fresa CRM software.
- Knowledge of logistics terms, including freight forwarding, transportation modes, customs regulations, and warehousing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
