Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in managing and coordinating sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and client follow-ups.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales quotations, proposals, and contracts to clients.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as operations and customer service, to ensure smooth execution of shipments and delivery of services.
• Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accuracy of contact information, sales records, and related documentation.
• Respond to customer inquiries, providing information about services, pricing, and availability in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, vendors, and other external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, performance metrics, and market research data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Assist in organizing and participating in sales meetings, presentations, and industry events.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and competitors' activities to provide valuable insights to the sales team.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales collateral, and online content to support sales efforts.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Monitor and track shipment schedules, providing regular updates to clients and addressing any issues or delays proactively.

Requirements

• Background in shipping / logistics is preferred
• Good communication skills (face to face and via the phone)
• Good interpersonal communication / negotiation skills (technical and commercial competent)
• Sales / commercial background would be nice
• Proactive approach
• Accurateness and attention to detail is required
• Working under pressure and sticking to deadlines
• Bachelor or master degree (or similar qualification)
• Proficient computer skills. Specially in MS office
• Business oriented, and a proactive team player with strong leadership to achieve results
• Open and positive approach and character
