Area of Responsibility:

Mechatronics CAD Designer experienced with NX Siemens, will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed designs using CAD software for electromechanical systems for our EANAN drones.

Subordination structure:

• Will be positioned in the Design Department

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Collaborating with system engineers, project managers, and customers to understand the drone requirements and specifications.
• Developing detailed CAD models and drawings of electro-mechanical systems, servo & actuator levers, fittings, installation brackets, enclosures, and assemblies using modelling software Siemens NX.
• Structural design of the frame, finite element analysis of the structure in the function of the loads and dynamics.
• Conducting design reviews and making necessary modifications based on feedback and requirements.
• Preparing detailed bills of materials (BOMs) for prototypes and production-ready designs.
• Performing analysis and simulations on the design to ensure it meets functional and performance requirements.
• Performing motor, servo adjustments, and PID tunings.
• Creating documentation such as operation manuals, user guides, and maintenance and repair instructions.
• Assisting with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
• Staying up-to-date with the evolution in NX functionalities and Business Communications

REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate for this role should have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field.
• Working place is onsite in Dubai.
• At least 5 years of experience in electro-mechanical CAD design, structural design and system integration design. Be proficient in using CAD software.
• A good knowledge of the English language is mandatory (spoken and written)
• Technical skills that are strongly recommended and have an advantage in the selection:
• - Aerospace background
• - UAV/eVTOL architecture and functioning
• - Experience with 3D printing design
• - CNC machining
• Further strong points that are expected are excellent problem-solving, communication, and working in a team.
