Requirements
1. Rope Access Level 3
Sparrows Group are looking for a Rope Access Level 3 to mobilise on 3rd April 2023 for 8 days.
PAYE and LTD candidates are both accepted.
Candidates must hold the below to be considered:
- Offshore Certificates
- Offshore Experience
- IRATA Level 3
- First Aid
Logbook hours within the last 6 months
2. Crane Operators
Sparrows Group are looking for Crane Operators to join our Workshop in Abu Dhabi.
This position is open to local hires only.
The successful candidate will operate platform pedestal and overhead cranes under the direction of nominated platform personnel and in accordance with the authorised operators instructions manual and platform operating procedures and will carry out routine first line crane maintenance duties including greasing, lubrication, oil changes, filter changes and other crane machinery lubrication duties in accordance with the maintenance routines, manufacturers manuals and service charts.
Candidates must hold a minimum of an Offshore Crane Operator Stage 2 or equivalent certificate, have an understanding of, and the ability to read load charts and be able to perform dynamic lifts, first line inspection and maintenance on Pedestal cranes.
3. Crane Supervisor
Sparrows Group are looking for a Crane Supervisor to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
This position is open to local hires only.
The successful candidate will be responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshops including job scheduling and labour allocation for the day-to-day operations, act as a technical adviser on all work performed in workshops, site and offshore as required and sign off as witness on all inspection reports ensuring inspections are correctly performed and recorded on documentation.
Candidates must be educated to minimum of an Industrial/ Vocational Training, or equivalent, have experience in leading a team and be capable of supervising and executing load testing.
4. Senior Project Engineer
Sparrows Group are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support our operations in Saudi Arabia.
Candidates must have an Oil and Gas background with experience on cranes.
The successful candidate will undertake management duties within a multidiscipline Engineering Department. All work would be carried out under the direct supervision of the Area Manager. The candidate is also responsible for the progress of projects, from initial kick-off to issue of deliverables, provide business promotion and establishment, business administration and project engineering support under the direction of the Area Manager.
The candidate must hold an HND in Engineering, have experience within a project engineering environment and have excellent communication and technical writing skills.
5. Inspector
Sparrows Group are looking for an Inspector to mobilise on 29th March 2023 for 7 days.
PAYE and LTD candidates are accepted.
Candidates must hold the below to be considered:
- Offshore Certificates
- Offshore Experience
- PCN UT
6. Rope Access Phased Array Technician
Sparrows Group are looking for a Rope Access Phased Array Technician to mobilise on 21st April 2023 for 14 days.
PAYE and LTD candidates are accepted.
Candidates must hold the below to be considered:
- Offshore Certificates
- Offshore Experience
- IRATA
- Logbook hours within the last 6 months
- PCN PAUT
