The Centre Manager will take responsibility for smooth and effective day to day operation of the Nursery. She will report to the MD and work with the teachers, assistants, nurse, administrators and parents. Responsibilities

• To create a welcoming and family friendly environment.
• To take part in recruitment and to support a team of staff to meet statutory ratios and include contingency staffing where appropriate, including induction.
• To provide a child-centred environment where children are cared for in a safe, caring and stimulating way that ensures their individual needs are met within a group setting.
• To ensure the national standards for the registration of childcare are maintained always.
• To implement the Children’s Centre’s Equal Opportunities Policy in all aspects of the centre and other childcare services.
• To take responsibility for quality assurance and compliance with all applicable legislation, including Health and Safety, within the Centre environment.
• To work in partnership with SPEA.

Requirements

• Post Graduate with Cache level 5
• 3 to 5 years experience
