Responsibilities
- Good experience in managing Accounting in ERP specifically Oracle/SAP.
- Attention to detail & mathematical skills
- Support accounts/MIS head to liaise with customers, suppliers and other departments as required.
- Direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for assigned staff, assign work activities, monitor workflow review and evaluate daily work, mmethodsand procedures and meet with staff to identify/resolve problems.
- Maintain appropriate books and records relating to the assigned function up to date on a real-time basis.
- Ensure day-to-day accounting is complete ensuring appropriate checks, internal/external reconciliations/confirmations and required documentation and approvals.
- Ensure timely collections/payments, accounting and periodic reconciliation of account balances with statements/confirmations.
- Reviewing financial information relating to the assigned functions and preparing
- financial reports and insights, including compliance/exception reports.
- Prepare financial analysis & performance reports of Company/Departments.
- Maintain sufficient records, logs, trackers, reconciliations and dashboards.
- Assist in preparing departmental KPIs, employee performance review process, departmental and individual score cards etc.
- Support in preparing required compliance and exception reports and provide timely input and insights to management for efficient decision-making including efficiencies and potential areas for improvement.
- Perform regular price updating for customers.
- Prepare analysis for purchase order working.
- Preparation of SKU WMS templates.
- Preparation of activity proposals.
- Assisting MIS Head with reports.
- Undertake other duties as assigned and assist colleagues wherever necessary.
- Graduation / Post graduation degree in Commerce / Accountancy.
- Full/part professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CPA/CMA).
- Thorough knowledge in accounting standards and concepts.
- Industry specific knowledge, commercial and business awareness with deep understanding of local laws and regulations including various taxes, labour laws, AML, ESR etc.
- Advanced skills in MS Office including excel.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the relevant field directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified with at least 3 years in UAE market. FMCG industry vertical experience will be an additional requirement.
