Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collections/payments, accounting and periodic reconciliation of account balances with statements/confirmations.
• Ensure full adherence to SOPs and policies while being insightful for continuous improvement to existing policies and procedures.
• Foster respect and teamwork within the department and motivate team members to deliver to their highest potential.
• Maintain appropriate books and records relating to the assigned function up to date on a real-time basis.
• Learn and socialize SOPs within the team and ensure strict adherence to SOPs, including formats and controls.
• Prepare financial analysis & performance reports of Company/Departments.
• Assist in cash flow forecasts/budgets/forecasts/variance reporting. 
• Maintain sufficient records, logs, trackers, reconciliations and dashboards.
• Support in preparing required compliance and exception reports.
• Ensure inventory records are accurate by ensuring periodic physical counts and timely reconciliations with books.
• Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported stock quantities and locations of all inventory.

Requirements

• Graduation / Post graduation degree in Commerce / Accountancy.
• Full/part professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CPA/CMA).
• Thorough knowledge of accounting standards and concepts.
• Industry-specific knowledge, commercial and business awareness with deep understanding of local laws and regulations including various taxes, labour laws, AML, ESR etc.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, including excel.
• Minimum 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, preferably with at least 2 years in UAE market. FMCG industry vertical experience will be an additional requirement.
• Candidates who will be able to join immediately.
