Store Based Floor Supervisor
Description
The purpose of this role is to assist the operations manager by putting together, driving, and maintaining a stimulating environment/sales team designed to exceed set targets and improve profitability on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
As first point of contact the role will demand someone with excellent front of house skills that will enhance, surprise, and delight the overall experience of the client and brand partner’s journey.
An experienced retail manager, you can lead teams in an energetic, high sales/volume business. You should be keen to join your team on the shop floor and you should be passionate about customer service. You will insist on high standards all-round and combine this with unrivaled expertise. A role model for your team, you’ll show customers and brand partners what a great and innovative store looks like.
Some weekend working is essential, but as an experienced professional, you’ll understand and be flexible.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for smooth operation of the floor assigned.
- Responsible for the performance of floor boys.
- Supervise Room Attendants
- Organises and facilitates the room making process.
- Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor.
Requirements
- Have an awareness of key competitor activity and accompany the operations manager on competitor visits as appropriate
- Ability to liaise with brand partners on a regular basis, to gain understanding of stock movement, customer feedback, brand activity and sales analysis
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Ensure the satisfaction of all customers by ensuring that prompt, courteous and efficient service is given by your team, always
- Experience with comparable luxury brands
- Strong people manager with experience in development and training
- Passionate and knowledgeable about fashion and lifestyle trends
- A clear display of brand loyalty and a clear progression path in previous roles
- You will have full knowledge of KPIs and be able to display strong commercial awareness
- Ability to read, understand and work spreadsheets and database information
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- BS degree in Business, Marketing or similar
- Grooming/dress code is professional and suitable style for the environment we work.
